Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Billings, Montana

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse with Neuro experience

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• On-Call Requirements:

  • 1 night per week
  • 1 weekend per month

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA only, certificates of completion NOT accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA only, certificates of completion NOT accepted
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA only, certificates of completion NOT accepted

Licensure

• Montana state license not required at submission; must start licensing process immediately upon offer
• State License verification required within 30 days of start
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start for RNs

Experience Requirements

• Must have Neuro experience (years of experience not explicitly stated, assume minimum RN experience)
• No explicit mention of prior travel experience required

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, or PA (no Chiropractors)
• Quantitative fit mask test with 3M mask within 90 days prior to start (qualitative tests not accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray, renewed annually
• Required vaccinations or proof of immunity:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (TDAP preferred within 10 years or signed declination)
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 31 - Mar 31), exemptions accepted with documentation
• COVID vaccination series or approved medical/religious exemption required
• Negative drug screen within 30 days of start, renewed annually

Background & Compliance

• 7-year background check required within 30 days of start, must renew annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
• Education verification required (3rd party verification of highest level of education)

Documentation & Verification

• 2 references required, including a direct supervisor reference within the last year
• Employment application covering 7 years of employment with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Employment verification preferred for last 5 years
• Skills checklist required as applicable
