Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details
- 8-hour day shift: 08:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Call required
- Unit accepts first-time travelers

Background Checks
- Must include SSN Trace, County Searches (last 7 years), Nationwide Sex Offender check
- Fingerprinting required for RNs working in Rhode Island (not required for Allied)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks must be completed within 30 days of start and annually
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella): 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if low/equivalent
- Hepatitis B: Titer, declination, or vaccine series (3 doses)
- Varicella: 2 vaccines, positive titer, or provider documentation of disease; boosters if low/equivalent
- 9 Panel Drug Screen after position acceptance
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine or Declination (required during flu season 10/1 - 3/31)
- COVID-19 Full vaccine series and annual booster required; exemptions require approval and twice-weekly testing if approved
- Respiratory Safety Clearance required annually
Certifications
- ACLS (AHA or ARC acceptable) required for ER and RRT candidates
- BLS required for all clinical candidates (preferably AHA or ARC)
- PALS, NRP, TNCC as applicable
- State License verification required

- Skills checklist required annually
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Color blind testing for lab candidates (100% passing score)
- Competency exam with minimum passing score of 80% or Angoff score
