Location: Rock Hall, Maryland

Caseload: About 30 clients

Job Description

• In-person Speech Language Pathologist needed to replace a virtual SLP.
• The assignment may extend through the end of the school year and potentially the extended school year (ESY).
• Location flexibility is possible based on candidate preference.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a valid Maryland Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in hand before starting.
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is required or must be confirmed with the client.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required.
• Completion of all required background checks including:

  • Criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Maryland CJIS/DSS/FBI fingerprinting results
  • Sex offender registry check
• Completion of required employment and compliance documents prior to start.
• Must complete Educational Services Mandatory Reporter training annually.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 clients aged birth to 21 years.

• Candidate must complete district fingerprinting and background checks; results must be on file prior to start.
• Candidate is responsible for fingerprinting costs.
• Various state and facility-specific documents and verifications are required, including tax forms, employment history review, and license verifications.
