Job Opportunity: PT Inpatient Rehab (Therapy/Rehabilitation)

Location: Odessa, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM
Weekend Scheduling: None
Start Date: June 28th


Requirements

  • Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy)
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year
  • Licenses & Certifications:
    • Current PT license to practice in Texas
    • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
  • Skills:
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English
    • Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
    • Ability to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations
    • Basic computer and word processing skills

Compliance & Documentation

  • Proof of I9 or Attestation
  • Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
  • Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
  • Background checks including 7-year criminal check, SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, Facis level 3
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
  • Various certifications as required (PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. as applicable)
  • State License primary source verification
  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exams as applicable
  • Facility-specific documents and orientation acknowledgements must be completed prior to start
  • Health documents including:
    • Initial physical exam and annual updates
    • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year (or chest x-ray if past positive)
    • Immunizations or titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
    • 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months
  • Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
  • Completed employment application/resume
  • Skills checklist updated annually
