Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Job Summary

• Mid-February start date
• 2 years of experience required in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (highest required experience)
• South Carolina Respiratory Therapist license required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required (AAP or AHA only)
• 50 mile radius restriction for travel
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Facility will not accept any background or licensure issues

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina Respiratory Therapist license
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
• NRP certification (AAP or AHA only)
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA only) may be required depending on unit
• Background checks with no disqualifying hits
• Proof of diploma required (transcripts not accepted)
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands of the position
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required for Respiratory Therapy)
• Required immunizations or documented declinations (Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu, COVID)
• Drug testing within 30 days of start (10 panel, no instant tests)
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completion of facility-specific Relias training modules (~81 modules) prior to orientation

Additional Requirements

• Government issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service
• Criminal background check within 30 days of start (for new candidates)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• Facility-specific documents and acknowledgements including job description, confidentiality agreements, and employee health questionnaires
• Badge photo meeting facility standards (no hats, sunglasses, shadows, or altered images)
• Skills checklist and performance evaluations as applicable
