Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) - Travel/Contract

Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift:

• 3x12 hour night shifts (7pm-7am) on weekdays, some weekends, float

Important Requirements & Documents

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Social Security Card required (must be legible)
• Background Check: 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, including SSN trace, counties, sex offender search, national and international searches if applicable
• Various background screenings (EPLS/SAM, HHS/OIG, Sex Offender Search) must be completed independently within 30 days of start and updated annually
• Physical Exam: Must be completed within 1 year of start, signed by a licensed provider, stating candidate is in good health and free from communicable diseases
• Drug Testing: Must be within 30 days of start and updated annually; no placeholders or pending results accepted
• Annual Fit Mask Testing required (3M N95 1860 Small or Regular and Aura 9205 only); onsite fit testing may be accommodated if no clinic within 100 miles
• Immunizations/Vaccinations:

  • Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria) required; medical and religious exemptions accepted with approval
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) - 2 vaccines or positive titers required; boosters may be required
  • Hepatitis B - documentation of vaccination or titer required; candidate can start with 2nd booster pending
  • Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titers required; boosters may be required
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved exemption required annually (strict deadlines apply)
