Experience Requirements

• Required Specialty Experience: 3 years
• Preferred Experience: Previous trauma experience
• Accepts 1st Time Travelers: Yes
• Prior Travel Experience Required: No indication that prior travel experience is required

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Preferred Certification:

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 6 months covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• International background check if employment gap outside the US in past 7 years
• Education verification or official transcript/diploma
• Employment application/resume required

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (Aya standard)
• N95 Respirator Fit Test within 1 year of start (for patient contact roles)
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray as per protocol
• MMR vaccines or positive titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella
• Hepatitis B: Positive titer and 3-dose vaccine series required (or acceptable alternatives)
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer
• 9-Panel Drug Screen within 6 months of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Sept 9 - March 31)
• COVID-19 primary series and booster vaccines required (Aya exemption accepted)

This position is suitable for nurses with solid ER experience looking for a travel contract in California, including those new to travel nursing.
