Job Opportunity: OT Inpatient Rehab

Location: Pecos, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)


Job Description

  • Occupational Therapist needed for swing bed/inpatient care (skilled nursing level of care in a hospital setting)
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Locals accepted

Requirements

  • Texas OT License required
  • NBCOT certification preferred but not required
  • No explicit years of experience stated; assume minimum entry-level unless otherwise specified by recruiter

Certifications & Competencies (As Required)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within last 12 months (not required annually)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, updated annually

    • Measles (Rubeola)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or documented declination required annually (facility-specific declination form required)

  • Proof of I9 or attestation
  • Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service
