Registered Nurse – Pediatric ER (Travel/Contract)

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ER (Emergency Room) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service
• Criminal background check within 6 months (or within 30 days for new candidates) including SSN trace, county searches (last 7 years), nationwide sex offender check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• Primary source verification of South Carolina RN license (NURSYS verification required)
• Completion of facility-specific Relias training modules (~81 modules) prior to first shift and orientation
• Badge photo meeting facility standards (no hats, sunglasses, filters, or shadows)
• Signed job description and confidentiality agreements
• Employee health questionnaire and serial TB screening self-evaluation on file
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands of position
• Immunizations or titers required:

  • Tdap within 10 years or facility-specific declination
  • Negative TB test (Qgold, Tspot, or 2-step PPD within 1 year) or annual TB questionnaire
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: titer or 2 vaccines with boosters or declination
  • Hepatitis B: positive titer or vaccine series or declination
  • Varicella: titer or 2 vaccines with boosters or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required year-round
  • COVID vaccination or declination required
• Drug testing: 10-panel within 6 months (or 30 days for new candidates), instant tests not accepted
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Performance evaluation required if previously completed assignments through any agency
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit

• Candidates must complete all required documentation and training prior to starting
• Facility enforces a 50-mile radius restriction for travel assignments
• Orientation may include up to 8 hours of training time
