Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location
- New York, NY
Employment Type

- Contract Length: 8 weeks
Work Schedule
- Night shift, Monday to Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
- Alternating weekends
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic imaging in Radiology/Cardiology with emphasis on Computed Tomography (CT)
- Use and proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software required
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New York
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, with experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent relevant experience in CT imaging
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Criminal background check within 60 days prior to assignment covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years, including all aliases
- Education verification with primary source verification for all formal education listed
- Employment application and 20-year work history verification with no gaps, including city/state and dates in MM/YYYY format
- Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug test within 60 days prior to start (excluding marijuana)
- Physical exam within 12 months of start including vital signs, review of systems, medical history, and clearance to work without restrictions
- Fit mask test (N95) within 1 year prior to start (3M 1870+ or Halyard N95, no PAPRs)
- Required immunizations and titers or proof of vaccination for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (antibody and antigen titers or vaccine series with declination if applicable)
- Hepatitis C (titer and treatment documentation if positive)
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season (Sept 3 – May 4), with medical or religious exemptions requiring approval
- Tuberculosis testing within required timeframes (Qgold, Tspot, or 2-step PPD) or negative chest X-ray if positive history
- Annual TB questionnaire completion
- Vision screening (Snellen) within 12 months of start
- Color blindness testing if applicable (must pass online or in-person Ishihara test)
- Various state-specific exclusion and registry checks as required by New York State regulations
Certifications and Training
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification recommended (AHA only, primary source verification)
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual)
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exams as applicable
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and training modules prior to or at start of assignment
- Annual required training modules including hospital safety and fire training

- Candidates must complete all required background checks, health screenings, and training prior to start
- All documentation must be current, valid, and compliant with facility and state requirements
- Failure to meet immunization or testing requirements may result in removal from assignment
