Medical Surgical Nurse

Overview

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Specialty area: Inpatient pulmonary unit with primarily pulmonary patients and some telemetry

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
Weekend requirement: every other weekend / every other holiday

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience Notes

The unit accepts first-time travelers if they have 2–3 years of related experience

Additional Job Details

Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4/5 on days or up to 1:6 on nights
Charting system: Epic
Contract length: 13 weeks
