• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM (40 hours per week)

Job Description

• 40 hours per week at an outpatient therapy location

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Iowa

Certifications (if applicable to role)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) or RQI
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) AHA or RQI (if applicable to specialty/unit)
• Other certifications may be required depending on specific unit assignment (not typically required for outpatient PT)

Competencies

• Unit-specific competency exams with minimum 80% passing score
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam (if applicable)
• Color blindness test (HRR-Ishihara) with 100% passing score (if applicable)

Orientation and Training

• Completion of facility-specific online learning modules prior to start (may be completed onsite temporarily)
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement including HIPAA training (annual renewal)
• Mandatory reporter training for Iowa (Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse)

Additional Notes

• Candidate must sign Iowa SING check memorandum of understanding and comply with state-specific background check procedures
• All background and credential verifications must be current within 30 days of assignment start
• References and employment verifications must be complete with no pending items before start
• Candidates must comply with all facility-specific documentation and training requirements prior to start
