Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Job in Santa Rosa, California
Job Details
- Location: Santa Rosa, California
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Radiation Therapy)
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- On-Call: Not required
- Floating: No floating between units required
- Daily Caseload: Approximately 25 patients per day

Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiation Therapy
- Experience with Varian 21 EX/iX equipment required
- Siemens CT experience required
- ARIA skillset required; EPIC charting system preferred
Required Certifications and Licenses
- California State License (CPDH Certificate required)
- ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Additional certifications may be required based on clinical track (verify individually)
Required Documentation and Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable)
- Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, updated annually
- Education verification (degree/diploma/transcripts as applicable)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations not required)
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months (instant acceptable with attestation)
- Respiratory safety clearance for respirator use (required annually for travel candidates)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years of employment with explanations for any gaps or overlaps
- Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
- Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT (T))
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience as a CT Technologist or with CT technology
- Current State License for Radiation Therapy
