Job Opportunity: Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
Typical shift hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (start times usually between 7:15 AM and 7:45 AM)
No holidays or weekend shifts required
Shifts may vary; work until the last patient is seen

Job Description

Provide nursing care in an outpatient infusion/oncology setting
Patient population includes:
- Oncology patients receiving chemotherapy/immunotherapy
- Hematology patients
- Non-oncology infusions (rheumatology, GI, neurology, pulmonology)
Approximately 85% hematology/oncology and 15% non-oncology infusions

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 1 year of hematology/oncology experience, with experience within the last year
Experience in an outpatient setting
Chemotherapy certification (ONS or ONCC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
Experience with chemotherapy administration (CHEMO)
Experience with intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous injections
Therapeutic phlebotomy experience
Infusion experience
