Job Opportunity: Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse
Location
- City: Lacey, Washington

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
- Typical shift hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (start times usually between 7:15 AM and 7:45 AM)
- No holidays or weekend shifts required
- Shifts may vary; work until the last patient is seen
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in an outpatient infusion/oncology setting
- Patient population includes:
- Oncology patients receiving chemotherapy/immunotherapy
- Hematology patients
- Non-oncology infusions (rheumatology, GI, neurology, pulmonology)
- Approximately 85% hematology/oncology and 15% non-oncology infusions
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of hematology/oncology experience, with experience within the last year
- Experience in an outpatient setting
- Chemotherapy certification (ONS or ONCC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Experience with chemotherapy administration (CHEMO)
- Experience with intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous injections
- Therapeutic phlebotomy experience
- Infusion experience
