Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Nights, 10-hour shifts (20:30 - 07:00)
- Includes weekends and holidays

Job Description
- Inpatient pharmacy technician role
- Includes sterile compounding duties
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Wisconsin
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration
- Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience with sterile compounding
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications & Competencies
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (check unit description)
- Other certifications as applicable by profession and unit requirements
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
Background & Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 90 days prior to start date, including multi-location search for past 7 years
- Education verification as applicable
- Wisconsin Caregiver Screening within 90 days of start (state-mandated)
- Drug screening required for pharmacy department staff within 45 days of start
- Physical exam (per agency standard)
- Various health document requirements including:
- TB testing and questionnaire
- Immunizations or exemptions for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Flu, and others as required
- Facility-specific forms and acknowledgments (e.g., safety manual, communicable disease form)
Additional Notes
- Strict testing and remediation processes for telemetry exams apply to certain clinical roles (not typically for pharmacy techs)
- Photo for badge required (passport-style, no headwear except for religious/medical reasons)
- References: 2 clinical references within last 3 years (agency standard)
- Employment application and annual skills checklist required
