Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends

Floating: As needed within scope

Job Description

• Must be an experienced Microbiologist.
• Locals are not allowed to apply.
• Radius restriction: 40 miles.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Block scheduling can be discussed during the interview.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or U.S. Department of Defense).
• Valid state license for Medical Lab Scientist.

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or attestation.
• Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried during hours of service.
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal check, SS trace, counties, nationwide, sex offender registry, and FACIS level 3.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals.
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually.
• Immunization or titer documentation for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within the last 12 months.
• Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31) or approved exemption with mask requirement.

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations.
• Completed employment application/resume.
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit.
• Competency exams as applicable by profession.
