Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Hagerstown, Maryland
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 18:30–7:00
• 13-week contract
• Float Pool assignment in Med/Surg Tele/IMC
• Traveler will float from MS units to IMC units
• Expected patient ratios: 1:4–1:6

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
• Intermediate Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in a hospital setting
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with Epic

Clinical Considerations

• May care for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma

Health Requirements

• Flu vaccine required; declinations and exemptions are not accepted
• 2-step PPD required
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 1 year of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test required within 1 year of start
• Proof of 2 clinical references required
