Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10s, Monday-Friday, 07:00-17:30
- ASAP start preferred
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Electrophysiology Lab (2 years of experience)
- Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Epic familiarity
- Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience
Unit Details
- Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
- Procedures include cardiac implant closure device, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage (LAA) closure, and pacemaker insertion
Call
- Travelers participate in one week of weekday call every two months and one weekend of call every two months
- Weekday call is 6:30 PM–7:00 AM after the regular shift
- Weekend call is 24-hour coverage
- Call-ins are generally low and are most often for pacemaker cases

- Parking permits are available, with monthly and annual options depending on permit type
