Home visits and periodic office meetings
Territory may require travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic
Average patient load: 5–8 patients per day
Productivity expectation: 30 points per week
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Guaranteed hours: No
Weekend requirement varies by location and profession
On-call requirement varies by location and profession
Some positions may use a Baylor schedule of 4x10s Friday–Monday; most are standard 5x8s Monday–Friday
One Saturday per month as needed

Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health experience or 1 full year of Hospice experience, depending on the specialty
Recent specialty experience
Must have reliable transportation
Current driver’s license
Agency-required liability insurance
Must have license in hand
CPR BLS
Must be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and have used it within the last 6 months
OASIS proficiency is required for RNs, PTs, and OTs

Start of Care
Wound Care
Follow-up visits
Coordinates and directs home nursing care according to physician orders and agency policies
Supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses
