Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- 26-week assignment
- Start date: ASAP
- Shift options: 4x12 variable or 3x12 variable
- Day or night shifts, based on facility needs at start
- Patient ratio: 1:20
- Guaranteed hours: 60 per 2 weeks
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
- No on-call
- No block schedule
- No first-time travelers
- No local candidates; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Pending license not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska LPN/LVN license in hand
- One completed travel assignment
- 1 year of Long Term Care experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
Compliance / Onboarding
- Alaska Food Worker Certification completed onsite during orientation
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
- E-Verify attestation
- Background check
- Education verification
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
- References: minimum of 2 covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Work history verification may be required if using a reference exception

- Shuttle to and from Anchorage provided at the beginning and end of the assignment
- Local shuttle available in Seward for transportation needs
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance
- Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Drug screen within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccination record or declination
- Respiratory safety clearance
