Overview

Travel/Contract role in San Francisco, California
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 12:00–20:30
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

ASCP
Pathologists' Assistant (2 years of experience)
Pathologists' Assistant experience within the last year
7-year background check required within 6 months of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM required
HHS/OIG required
Sex Offender Search required within 90 days of start
FACIS Level 3 search required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start
California - Medi-Cal Search Result required if monthly FACIS III cannot be run
State license verification required within 30 days of start
Tech Cert Verification - National required within 30 days of start
Unit-specific skills checklist required
Full 7 years of work history in the application, including city and state, with no gaps
Work history verification required; gaps over 30 days must be explained
Employment application must include full 7 years of work history

Respiratory safety clearance required before start
References required by agency process
Background check must be clear of open cases before start

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred for RN positions

This role is based in the laboratory and includes specimen receipt, processing, data entry, gross dissection, frozen section support, post-mortem examinations, quality control, troubleshooting, and validation/implementation support
