Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Marrero, Louisiana
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit does not offer straight 3x12 schedules; schedule options are alternating 3x12s and 4x12s every other week, or straight 4x12s
• Unit ratio: 1:6, or 1:4 if cardiac drip
• Weekend, holiday, and float coverage are required
• Holidays: at least 2 of 3 holidays
• Unit includes general MS, diabetes renal insufficiency, some overnight ortho, vascular insufficiency, wound patients, and backup for Stroke Unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic
• Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias & Telemetry
• Must be able to work the required holiday coverage and weekend schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• NIH
• ACLS
