Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist

Required Certifications

• ACLS (AHA only)
• PALS (AHA only)
• NRP (AHA only)
• National or Board Certification: CRT or RRT from NBRC

Licensure

• Active professional license for the State of Louisiana (Primary Source Verification within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration)

Required Experience

Required Onboarding Documentation and Testing

• Skills Checklist: Unit-specific, within 1 year prior to start, updated annually
• Core Competencies: Must be current within 1 year prior to start with passing score of 80% or higher (includes HIPAA, Safety, Infection Control, etc.)
• Competency Exam: Passing score of 80% or higher within 1 year prior to start
• Criminal Background Check: Completed within 30 days prior to start, including multi-county and national checks
• Drug Screen: Negative 10-panel within 30 days prior to start
• Eye Exam & Color Vision: Ishihara Color Test and Snellen Vision test within 1 year prior to start
• Badge Photo: Forward-facing, well-lit, neutral background, JPEG format

This position requires a highly skilled respiratory therapist with pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, multiple certifications, and compliance with extensive health and safety requirements. The assignment is for approximately 13 weeks in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
