Job Description
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Care for patient populations including Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
- Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
- Must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance; a basic dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week and must be passed to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
- Estimated work week: 36 hours with possible overtime.
- Cerner EMR experience required.
- ACLS certification required.

Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa.
- Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard RN experience for MedSurg/Telemetry roles (typically 1-2 years).

- License/Certificate Verification (primary source verification within 30 days of start).
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (American Heart Association or Apex Innovations only).
- OSHA Questionnaire.
- Other standard onboarding documents and attestations as required.

- Must pass a dysrhythmia test during the first week of assignment to work on Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
- Experience with Cerner EMR is required.
