Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician

Location: Reno, Nevada
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour shifts (7 AM - 5 PM)
• On-call one weeknight per week (14 hours)
• One full weekend (Friday-Sunday) every two weeks

Job Description

• Work in a diagnostic cath lab performing PCI, EP, device procedures, and some structural cases

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Professional license verification (primary source verification within 30 days of start)
• Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport

Required Health & Immunization Credentials

• COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 vaccines plus booster or completed declination
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer
• Hepatitis B: Vaccination required, no declinations accepted
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31), no declinations accepted
• TB Test: Within 1 year of start date
• Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer
• Tdap: Vaccination required, no declinations accepted
• Physical/Health Statement: Must be completed within 60 days of start and state clearance to work
• Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: If applicable, negative chest x-ray within 3 months required

Required Professional Credentials & Testing

• Prime Education Verification (diploma or transcripts accepted if third-party verification unavailable)
• Prime OIG check
• Prime Criminal Background Check (within 1 year of start)
• Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search
• Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
• Prime Form I-9 (employment eligibility verification)

Additional Requirements

• Annual respirator fit test (if applicable, must be completed prior to start)
• Prime Color-blind test (annual)
• Prime Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC within 60 days of start (CA locations require additional saliva THC test)
