Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Work schedule: 36 hours per week, every other week (EOW)
  • Required certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • Level 1 trauma experience preferred

Required Credentials and Compliance for Onboarding

  • Licenses & Certifications:
    • Valid nursing license with verification dated within 30 days of start
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC certifications with current expiration dates
  • Health & Safety:
    • Fit test for respirator use
    • COVID-19 vaccine (including booster by Sept 2025) or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
    • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption/declination for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 flu seasons
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to start date
    • MMR vaccination or immunity proof
    • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
    • Tdap vaccine (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)
    • 2-step PPD or IGRA test for TB; positive results require chest x-ray within last year (for CT and certain states)
    • Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
  • Drug Screening:
    • 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC) with Medical Review Officer (MRO) signature
  • Professional Requirements:
    • Signed Trinity Code of Conduct form
    • Completed I9 form
    • Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement signed
    • Integrity and Audit Services form signed shortly before start
    • Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
    • Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
    • Criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
    • Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma
    • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks dated within 30 days of start
    • Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
    • NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days of start
    • System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
    • Conflict of Interest Disclosure form signed
    • OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check completed within 30 days of start
