ECHO Vascular Technician - Travel Position

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable start times around 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:30 AM (8-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed
Weekend Requirements: No weekend shifts
Holiday Requirements: Willing to discuss holiday coverage options
On-Call: No call required
Float: Opportunity to float to a nearby clinic as desired

Job Description

• Adult Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Sonographer) role, adult patients only
• Support includes ergonomics initiatives such as twice-monthly massages
• Opportunity to work with Siemens SC2000 machines (training provided)
• Primary cases include adult inpatient and outpatient echo procedures
• Additional opportunities to assist with stress testing, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and pediatric cases
• EPIC charting experience preferred but not mandatory

Required Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of Echo Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with adult patients
• Echo-Vascular Technician experience
• Associate Degree, Certificate, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Additional Information

• Orientation: 8-hour unbillable orientation; medical compliance must be started within 48 hours of offer acceptance (24 hours for quick start)
• No scrub color requirement
• Response time for any urgent needs: 30 minutes

This position offers a stable 13-week travel contract with consistent hours, no weekend or on-call duties, and opportunities for professional growth and training.
