Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Emergency Room
  • Shift: 12-hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
  • Schedule: Every other weekend and rotating holidays
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Float Requirements: Must be flexible to float to similar units as needed
  • On Call/Call Back: Not required

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of Emergency Department experience
  • Certifications:
    • NC or Compact RN license
    • AHA BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NIHSS
    • TNCC & ENPC (Must have at least TNCC or ENPC at submission and obtain the other by compliance deadline)
  • Charting Experience: Epic strongly preferred
  • Required Skillset: Pediatric Emergency, Trauma, and Critical Care

Additional Information

  • Must be resilient, able to manage change well, and socially adept
  • Scrub colors: Red, Black, Gray (solid colors only; no designs unless working in Pediatric areas)
  • COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless medically or religiously exempt
  • Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not explicitly required

This position offers a dynamic environment in a busy Emergency Department with a focus on pediatric emergency and trauma care.
