Registered Nurse – ER

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Evenings/Nights (flexible)

• Evening shifts: 11:00 AM–11:00 PM or 1:00 PM–1:00 AM
• Night shifts: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• No quick turnarounds (e.g., night shift followed by early evening shift same day)
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday rotation: Possible work night before and on holidays

Unit Information

• 18-bed ER unit
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Scrub color: Solid black for all RNs

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (all required)
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years ER experience required
• Triage experience strongly preferred
• Recent Epic charting experience (within last year) required
• BSN strongly preferred but not required

Additional Requirements

• Previous travel experience required; at least one completed travel contract
• No travelers currently working within 50 miles of the corporate campus location
• Must be flexible to float to all facilities within a 60-mile radius
• Any missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks
• Orientation: 8-hour unbillable, 8-hour shifts during orientation week not guaranteed
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week except during holidays when unit may be closed
• No on-call or call-back requirements

This position requires a flexible, experienced ER nurse comfortable with evening and night shifts, prior travel assignments, and working in a fast-paced 18-bed emergency unit.
