Registered Nurse – Long Term Care

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour shifts, primarily PM (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Schedule Details:

Every other weekend required
Holidays as needed
Must be flexible with shift assignments
Float within facility and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius
No on-call or call-back requirements
Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks

Job Description

Work primarily in Long Term Care, Assisted Living, and Rehab settings
Patient ratios: 1:10 in Rehab; 1:24 in Long Term Care/Assisted Living (with CNA assistance at 1:10 ratio)
Charting experience with EPIC preferred
Orientation includes 8 hours unbillable; hours guaranteed except during holidays when unit may be closed
Scrub color: Black

Required Qualifications

Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in Long Term Care or related settings
Prior travel experience preferred (at least 1 completed contract)
Experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, and Rehab environments
