Overview

• Travel RN assignment in Pikeville, Kentucky
• 12-hour nights
• Contract length: 8 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours: 48 hours per week
• No blocked scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Kentucky or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• 1 year as an RN in specialty
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Must be able to read and interpret tele strips
• EKG test required during the compliance process

Preferred

• Care View/EPIC charting experience

Unit and Float Scope

• Primary location is a 340-bed Level II Trauma Center
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Bed count varies by unit: 15-45 beds
• Float scope includes Med Surg/Tele units and all in-patient areas
• May be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance

Schedule and Coverage

• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday required unless time off is approved

Additional Notes

• COVID vaccine required unless a medical or religious declination is accepted; if declined, weekly testing is required at the traveler/agency expense
