Job Summary

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
• Other duties as assigned.

Contract Length

• 14 weeks

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years recent strong Med-Surg experience required.

Education

• Required: ASN
• Preferred: BSN

Certifications & Licensure

• Required: NIHSS, BLS (AHA), CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• Preferred: None
