Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Psychiatric Care (8-Hour Shift)

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during assigned shifts.
Utilize nursing processes, current nursing trends, technology, and resources to deliver patient care.
Perform initial patient assessments upon admission and develop individualized plans of care.
Implement and modify nursing interventions and patient care procedures based on ongoing evaluation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Identify personal learning needs and pursue professional development.
Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience.

Education

Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Certifications & Licensure

Illinois State RN License in good standing
BLS (American Heart Association)

Additional Information

Travelers will be responsible for unit keys, which must be returned or shipped back with tracking after assignment completion. Failure to return keys within 30 days may result in a fee.
