Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center, supporting patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. The role involves building long-term patient relationships in a small interdisciplinary team environment, including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and physicians.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Fast-paced setting overseeing up to 12 patients and up to 3 Patient Care Technicians.
- Shifts typically 12 hours, 3 days per week, Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays).
- Shift times vary but generally early morning or day shifts between 4am-10pm.
- Some holiday shifts required.
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with dialysis experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent dialysis experience in SNF or acute care settings (ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg experience also relevant).
- Flexible schedule availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to assess, troubleshoot, and make sound clinical recommendations in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Word and Outlook.
