Serves as a primary scrub person or assistant for operative procedures.

Scrub into cases and prepare instruments and supplies
Maintain the sterile field during case setup and throughout surgical cases
Pass instruments, assist the physician as needed, and support draping and patient positioning
Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts
Complete post-case cleaning, instrument decontamination, and transport/return of instruments to Central Sterile
Ensure the surgical suite is disinfected, stocked, and ready for the next procedure
Complete mandatory hospital education and maintain compliance with HR and Employee Health requirements
