Radiology Tech Position - Kentucky, Louisville

Job Summary

Perform diagnostic imaging using radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images that meet or exceed standards.
Apply thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality.
Prepare patients for procedures, provide education, and address questions or concerns.
Use age-appropriate communication and ensure patient safety, education, and developmental considerations.
Understand patient positioning, imaging techniques, radiation safety, infection control, and quality control.
Oversee and train students involved in patient care and imaging procedures.
Apply radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Shift: 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, 4 days per week
Every 3rd weekend: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Some on-call shifts per month
10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in Kentucky
Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Current ARRT (R) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
