Radiology Tech Position - Kentucky, Louisville
Job Summary
- Perform diagnostic imaging using radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images that meet or exceed standards.
- Apply thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality.
- Prepare patients for procedures, provide education, and address questions or concerns.
- Use age-appropriate communication and ensure patient safety, education, and developmental considerations.
- Understand patient positioning, imaging techniques, radiation safety, infection control, and quality control.
- Oversee and train students involved in patient care and imaging procedures.
- Apply radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Shift: 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, 4 days per week
- Every 3rd weekend: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Some on-call shifts per month
- 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Current ARRT (R) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
