RN - ACCU - Travel

Contract

• 8 weeks
• Day shift, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS
• BLS
• Conscious Sedation
• NIHSS
• Critical Care Float experience within the last year
• 5 years of Critical Care Float experience
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Preferred

• CCRN
• 1 year of travel experience

Assignment Details

• Float assignment includes ICU, ED, PACU, and IMC units
• Care is for ICU patients, with some full IMC patient care in the ED and designated units

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, reassessments, care planning, medication administration, treatment/procedure delivery, documentation, patient/family education, and coordination with the care team
• Provide critical care nursing tasks including monitoring, recognizing dysrhythmias, managing pain and sedation protocols, following sepsis, ventilator-associated pneumonia, pressure ulcer, and central line protocols, and using pressure monitoring and bedside cardiac monitors
• Follow safety, infection control, transfusion, restraint, disaster, rapid response, and life safety procedures
