Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience

Preferred Experience

3 years of experience preferred
PEDS/PICU experience preferred, as the clinician may float

Key Responsibilities

Perform neonatal assessments, reassessments, care planning, medication administration, treatments, documentation, patient/family education, and communication with the care team
Provide NICU-specific care including blood sampling, UAC line setup and management, bedside monitoring, ventilator familiarity, fluid and nutrition calculations, and age-appropriate neonatal assessment and intervention
