Unit Description

19-bed Neurosurgical ICU
Patient population includes acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), seizures, and post-surgical patients
Care involves invasive intracranial pressure monitoring, frequent neurological assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, and routine CT, MRI, and angiography
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2-3:1
May require floating to other ICUs or step-down units

Required Qualifications

Licensure

Valid RN license in Ohio

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience

Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
