Job Opportunity: Operating Room RN

Location: Willoughby, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Role: Circulating nurse in a Level III Trauma center
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Call required: Minimum of 1 weekday per week and 1-2 weekend days per month (Saturday or Sunday)

- Orthopedics (including total joints)

- Ophthalmology
- Urology

Required Qualifications

Licensure

Valid, permanent RN license in Ohio (temporary licenses not accepted)
Primary source verification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration
License must be re-verified every 2 years with RN license renewal

Certifications

BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS (American Heart Association)

Experience

Specialty: RN Surgery

Health and Safety Requirements

2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within last 6 months; if positive, clear chest x-ray and current TB questionnaire required
Fit test for N95 respirators completed within 1 year prior to start
Physical exam within 1 year prior to start confirming ability to work without restrictions

Background and Compliance

Ohio fingerprints and criminal background checks as per state residency duration
National criminal background check including sex offender registry within 6 months of start
OIG exclusion check within 6 months of start
SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC clearance within 6 months of start
Drug screen within 60 days of start (10-panel, lab report required; instant screens not accepted)
Education and employment verification within 5 years through third-party verification
Skills checklist completed within 1 year prior to start (clinical skills specific)
Competency exam with minimum 80% score within 1 year prior to start
Core competencies (HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission topics) completed within 1 year prior to start
Driver’s license or state ID (non-expired photo ID) required
