Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work as an Operating Room Registered Nurse at a Level III trauma referral center.
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (4x10).
• Call required: minimum 1 weekday call per week and 1-2 weekend call days per month (Saturday or Sunday).
• Support for 8 operating rooms.
• Surgical specialties include:

  • General
  • Robotic
  • Orthopedic
  • Orthopedic Trauma
  • Thoracic
  • Vascular
  • Hybrid
  • Urology
  • Ophthalmology
  • Bariatrics
  • Pain
  • Podiatry

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Experience in the following surgical specialties:

  • Orthopedic Trauma
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Urology
  • Ophthalmology
  • Bariatrics
  • Pain Management
