Echo Technician (Per Diem) - California, Redding

Job Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA), Per Diem
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Contract Length: Approximately 52 weeks (1 year)
• Location: Redding, California
• Must be able to take call and work weekends. Candidates unable to meet this requirement should not apply.

Required Qualifications

• Valid professional license and certifications for Echo Technician.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Completion of all required immunizations and health screenings, including:

  • COVID-19 vaccine series plus booster or documented declination.
  • MMR (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer).
  • Hepatitis B (3 immunizations, immune titer, or declination not accepted for this location).
  • Influenza vaccine or declination (declinations not accepted for this location during flu season Nov 1 – Mar 31).
  • Tdap vaccine as an adult (declinations not accepted for this location).
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity titer.
  • TB test within one year of start date.
• Annual respirator fit test.
• Annual physical/health statement confirming clearance to work (must be completed within 60 days of start).
• Drug screening within 60 days of start: minimum 10-panel urine test excluding THC plus psychoactive THC saliva test (California-specific requirement).
• National criminal background check within one year of start date.
• Valid driver’s license, state ID, or passport.
• Completion of required training and exams with a minimum score of 80%:

  • Core Competencies Exam
  • Specialty Exam
  • Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP)
• Completion of sexual harassment prevention training valid for 2 years.
• Submission of two professional references, including at least one from a manager or direct supervisor.
• Up-to-date resume reflecting recent work history.
• Signed current job description (within the year).
• Education verification (diploma or transcripts accepted if third-party verification unavailable).
• Clear, professional badge photo (JPEG format).

Additional Requirements

• Must complete agency attestation and employment eligibility verification (Form I-9).
• Must complete color-blind test annually.
• Must complete skills checklist (does not expire on assignment).
• Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration.
• Agency attestation and exclusion list (SAM/EPLS) search required prior to onboarding.
