Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• DCI/BVP
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

• Ventilator management experience

Onboarding Requirements

• EPIC EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination/booster status required or declination completed
• MMR immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B immunization, titer, or declination
• Influenza vaccine or declination
• TB test within 1 year of start date

Role Summary

• Provides direct patient care in a telemetry unit using the nursing process
• Responsible for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Directs patient and family teaching and supports other nursing personnel
• Communicates changes in patient condition, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results, to the physician
