Job Opportunity: RN Medical/Surgical

Location: Reno, Nevada
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts
Start Date: January 17

Job Description

• RN Medical/Surgical role with the ability to float between units
• Must be available to work weekends
• Preference for candidates available through the end of January and the first week of February
• Position is Per Diem for 26 weeks
• Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting
• Full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks after the start date

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Active nursing license verification
• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination
• COVID-19 vaccine: 2 doses plus booster or declination completed
• Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
• Influenza vaccine or declination (required November 1 - March 31)
• TB test within one year of start date
• Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
• Physical/Health Statement completed within 60 days of start, stating clear to work

Additional Compliance Requirements

• Primary source verification of professional license and certifications (within 30 days of start)
• Fit test (annual respirator fit test; must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
• National criminal background check within one year of start date (with some state-specific timing exceptions)
• Prime Core Competencies Exam (must score 80% or higher)
• Prime Skills Checklist
• Prime Specialty Exam (must score 80% or higher)
• Prime Orientation Packet (upload Essentials Form and Post Test)
• Prime Job Description signed by employee
• Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start)
• Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search
• Prime Form I-9 (employment eligibility verification)
• Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
• References: 2 required, including 1 from a manager or direct supervisor
• Resume: must be up to date and reflect recent work history
