Job Description

Provide safe patient care using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Deliver direct patient care within scope of practice in the Emergency Department.
Guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Responsible and accountable for patient care in the Emergency Department.
Communicate changes in patient condition and diagnostic results to physicians.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and mandatory reporting of child/adult abuse.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
