Job Opportunity: RN Stepdown Nights

Schedule: 36 hours weekly, every other weekend, and one major holiday per contract
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4 RN to patient ratio
Unit: Progressive Care Unit with bedside cardiac monitors

Job Description

Provide nursing care for patients in a Progressive Care Unit. All patients are on bedside cardiac monitors, requiring close monitoring and specialized skills in cardiac care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• EPLS certification

Additional Requirements

• Signed assignment agreement prior to onboarding
• Resume/profile submission required
• Two professional references required prior to first assignment
• Criminal background check including social security trace, OIG search, and national sex offender registry, updated annually
• Employment verification for past seven years, updated annually
• Education verification relevant to clinical work, completed within 90 days of start
• Onsite onboarding and completion of nursing contingent worker education attestation
• Forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations)
