Registered Nurse (ICU) - Long-Term Assignment

Location: Franklin, Wisconsin
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work on an Acuity Adaptable Unit (not a pure ICU) with exposure every other week to End of Week (EOW) and End of Hour (EOH) duties.
• Care for post-catheterization patients.
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) required.
• Experience with balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter is a plus.
• Competency in sheath pulls required.
• Must be proficient with EPIC electronic health record system.
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to other nearby sites within 40 miles as needed.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including ICU experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
• Experience with balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
