Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery RN (Travel)

Job Description

• Minimum of 2+ years current experience in Labor & Delivery / OB required
• Schedule: 36/48 hours
• RN must reside within 100 miles of the facility to be considered
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly
• Start date on job is the start date needed

Required Qualifications

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Kentucky RN license or compact license valid in Kentucky
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA only, front and back of certificate if not electronic)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• NIH Certification (required for RN specialties except OR and Psych)

Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery / OB (highest required years of experience)

Additional Requirements

• ARH EKG Exam and Telemetry Exam within one year prior to start
• Proof of immunizations or positive titers prior to start:

  • 2 MMR vaccinations or positive titer
  • 3 Hepatitis B vaccine series or declination
  • 2 Varicella vaccinations or positive titer
  • Annual Influenza vaccine (October-March) or approved exemption
  • Tdap vaccination (valid 10 years from administered date; declinations accepted)
• Annual Physical or Health Statement within 1 year prior to start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP, stating clear to work without restrictions
• TB Quantiferon blood test within one year prior to start
• ARH 20/20 Drug Screen within 30 days of start (annual update required)
• ARH Kentucky Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Registry verification within 30 days prior to start (annual update required)

Professional Documentation

• ARH Submission Packet including cover page, resume, skills checklist, driver’s license, and license/certification verification in one PDF
• 2 professional references required: 1 charge nurse or higher, 1 supervisor reference within the last year
• ARH 2020 Background Check (including education and employment verifications) within 30 days prior to start (annual update required)
• Specialty job description signed and dated (annual update required)
• ARH Skills Checklist and Competency Exam within one year prior to start (annual update required)
• ARH Core Competencies (HIPAA, Patient Bill of Rights, Safety Orientation, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Elder Abuse and Neglect, Age Specific Care, Cultural Diversity, Advance Directives) annual update required
• ARH Assignment Confirmation form to be uploaded within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• ARH Employee Health Attestation Form completed prior to compliance deadline
