Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Specialist

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Minimum of 3 years experience with stress echo required
• Must be ARDMS or CCI registered
• Work hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Must be available to work some weekends and holidays as needed (no scheduled rotation)
• 40 hours per week

Required Credentials & Certifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration
• ACLS (AHA Only) – Required for ER
• BLS (AHA Only)
• Other certifications may be required depending on specialty (check specific details)

Compliance & Background Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Massachusetts Statewide (iCORI) Release, updated annually
• 7-year Criminal Background Check within 30 days of start, with annual updates for direct candidates
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks if run separately from background check
• Education Verification: 3rd party verification of highest completed education required
• Transcript acceptable if education verification is unperformable (diplomas not accepted)
• Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search required for all candidates in MA (not required for subcontractors)
• Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Clearance attestation required within 30 days prior to start
• Sex Offender Search for subcontractors if run separately

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical Exam within 12 months of start, including physician statement of fitness without restrictions
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray with specific timing requirements
• TB Questionnaire required for all candidates
• Immunizations or valid declinations required for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (declinations not accepted for Pediatrics, NICU, Maternity)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – positive titer, vaccines, or declination (declinations not accepted for Pediatrics, Maternity, NICU)
  • Hepatitis B – positive titer, 3-dose series, or declination (declinations valid for 1 year)
  • Varicella – positive titer, vaccines, documented history, or declination
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination or declination required during flu season (10/1 - 3/31)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (most recent) or declination required
• Drug Testing within 30 days of start (specific drug panels required)

Additional Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for RNs and LPNs
• Competency Exams as applicable
• Color Blind Testing required for certain roles (Dialysis, Med Lab Tech, Phlebotomist)
• Pass/Fail Testing for Medication and Telemetry Exams for RNs and LPNs (minimum 80% score required on first day of orientation)
• References: 2 references within 3 years of start
• Employment Application: must include 7 years of employment history and explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Skills Checklist: required prior to start and updated annually as applicable

Work Environment & Schedule

• Facility operates with a 40-hour workweek
• Some weekend and holiday shifts required, but no scheduled rotation
