Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Huntington, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Call: Not required, but extra shifts and call opportunities available
• No floating required
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays (3-week lead time for compliance)
• Work Hours: 36-40 hours per week guaranteed
• Daily Caseload: Approximately 100-120 exams per 24-hour period (varies by shift)

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required
• First-time travelers are welcome, but some prior travel experience is preferred (prior travel experience is not mandatory)

Required Qualifications

• Experience with GE Revolution EVO Scanner & GE VCT Scanner
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Active state license required (can submit with pending license but must have active license to start)
• Must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service
• Compliance with background checks and verifications (criminal background, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
• Drug screen within 30 days of start, including confirmation values for specified substances
• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Immunizations and health requirements including:

  • Flu vaccination (or approved medical/religious exemption)
  • COVID vaccination or facility-specific declination form
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Varicella immunization or titers
• Facility-specific orientation and education modules must be completed within 1 week of start
• Must be clean-shaven for N95 fit test (respiratory protection policy)

Additional Notes

• No restrictions on return to office (RTO); time off requests discussed during interview
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• Multiple certifications may be required depending on role specifics (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) but BLS is mandatory for this role
• Documentation such as references, performance evaluations, and skills checklists may be required if previously employed with the system

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience who are comfortable working night shifts and have experience with specific GE scanners. Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
